New Adjustment For Bus Pick-up and Drop off in JB Sentral Bus Terminal



For all travelers visiting Johor Bahru via the JB Sentral bus terminal along Jalan Jim Quee, there will be new amendments on the bus pick-up and drop off point for all buses going to this destination starting 17th of November 2019.


With the new implementation of Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Johor (PAJ) on all the arrangement of buses heading to this area, all stage buses that go to JB Sentral Bus Terminal will have their own designated drop-off and pick up points according to their routes. PAJ has identified two zones for these buses to go through.


Zone Timur which is the existing bus terminal beside KOMTAR JBCC and City Square JB will be catering the following routes:


Zone Barat is placed along the Jalan Jim Quee area. This new pick-up and drop off point is accessible by 8 minutes’ walk from gate 4 entrance area going to R&F mall if you are coming from the JB Sentral Train station counter or just after the Johor Bahru Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Complex (JB CIQ).

Other travel tips going to this terminal:


  • A signage is available along the walk way going to R&F Mall from JB Sentral area and followed by a small stairway to get down to the bus bay pick up and drop off point.

  • To avoid missing the bus, you are highly advised to be at the bus pick up location at least 10 minutes before the expected departure time of the bus. All bus schedules are displayed at their own designated platforms.

Zone Barat new pick-up and drop off point. This is accessible via teh walkway from JB Sentral KTM Train Counter to R&F Mall.

Buses for Zone barat will go straight to drop off and pick up passengers there.

Walk way to Zone Barat from JB Sentral connecting bridge to R&F Mall. The walk is about 8 minutes only to reach the Zone Barat Pick up and drop off location from here.
