Abounding with luxurious traditional Melaka delicacies, we had the chance to uncover the Nyonya Hi-Tea Buffet of Fraser Place Puteri Harbour, Johor Bahru at Residence & Hotel Marina, Puteri Harbour, Johor.
Executive Sous Chef Daniel Lowe mentioned that most of their dishes are Nyonya Inspired. As an added advantage, the chef hails from Melaka and he was taught by his mom how to prepare traditional Nyonya dishes.
In terms of how they arranged the food especially their Nyonya dishes, it was really neat and tempting. Their F&B team controlled their guests to 120 pax as part of their SOP to avoid crowding while dining at their place.
Restaurant Manager Mr. Azhar mentioned that their Hi-Tea Buffet Absolute is consists of 80-90 dishes which will make the dining experience remarkable for the entire family.
"Had the chance to experience their seafood at their Hot Dish Corner and I was really impressed on how it was prepared on the spot. I love it."
They also serve fresh oysters and oyster omelette which are considered as one of the highlights of their Hi-Tea Buffet. I tried it and it was really great. They also prepared the sauces for you to mix along with it.
As an overall experience, I would say it was a nice dining experience on that day while enjoying most of their traditional Nyonya delights including their seafood platters.
I think this place is absolutely a recommended one with spacious dining space suitable for family and friends out there looking for Nyonya Hi-Tea Buffet.
Meanwhile, their Hi-Tea Buffet is available every Saturday to Sunday from 12:30PM to 4:30PM.
