During the launching, it was highlighted that the Cancer Centre offers end-to-end treatment services and support including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy and biological targeted therapy, delivered by a highly experienced and skilled multi-disciplinary team of medical specialist consultants, nurses, counselors, and other paramedical professionals.
Gleneagles Medini Hospital in Johor Bahru during that day showcased their latest Elekta Synergy Radiotherapy with C-RAD system which offers 3-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy ( 3DRT) Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT) or Rapid Arc.
The cutting-edge technology enables more precise, accurate and quicker treatment using a lower dose of radiation so that patients can quickly resume their normal routine while enhancing the overall quality of life.
During the launching, the Chief Executive Officer, Jean- Francois Naa, of the said Hospital informed that the said Cancer Centre was worth 25 Million Malaysian ringgit to help facilities those people in need of cancer treatment.
The said launching was also attended by the newly appointed Menteri Besar of Johor Bahru, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Dr. Sahruddin Jamal together with other prominent guests from the medical field.
A video highlight was also shown during the event including a full-blown awareness campaign conducted through an extraordinary fully bus wrapped to famous cross-border bus services in Johor Bahru and Singapore.
