With our ongoing #Jomtaralestsupportlocal campaign, today's food destination as at AnMour Café located in 61, Jalan Kuning 2, Taman Pelangi, 80400 Johor Bahru, Johor.
This café started in 2011 and it was believed to be a homegrown modest American restaurant concept which was originally set up in Peninsular Malaysia. This café has been serving various travellers going in and out to Johor Bahru via the Causeway between Singapore and Malaysia. This café also caters locals in Johor Bahru and other residents outside the city center (JB Town).
Jom we me as we uncover some of their food here.
THE FOOD:
We ordered their Carbonara Pasta, Golden Chicken Nugget (K02), Crispy Onion Ring with Tartar Sauce, Special Honey Pork Burger and Vanilla Milkshake.
The food discovery to this restaurant was great. In terms of how it was package when it was sent to us by this delivery online platform. Their branding was there and the food is well secured.
Their Carbonara pasta was amazing in terms of textures and taste. The combination of the cheese, mushroom, pepper and the half-boiled eggs was perfectly blended in my palate. It brings a new taste in me. I like it.
The Special Honey Pork Burger was also something that is recommendable to a friend. The way it was prepared like the patties and the thick cheese was amazing. It cheese helps a lot in bringing out an American taste more flavour to the whole set. Its worth the price (I would say).
Since I have kids with me, we gave them Crispy Onion Rings with Tartar Sauce. My kids love it. We ask for the fries to be not that salty. So overall- it was okay.
The Vanilla Milkshake is a good finisher. It is so smooth in my mouth and it was sent safe (I mean not spilled ). We use an online food store platform to or4der their food.
Overall, I would say that the food experience here was 9 out of 10. I hope we can visit their shop to try new food. PS: This place is actually where we celebrated the birthday of my wife last year (it is in Plaza Pelangi branch) . My kids love their food.
