Let’s go Dimsum Line Restaurant today in Adda Heights, Johor Bahru. This shop serve vegetarian dimsums. Let’s find out how was it:
THE AMBIANCE:
The restaurant is clean, simple and the concept of the owner is just plain eating place situated in a shop lot. It is very spacious and it is both air-con and non air-conditioned place. The rating of the shop for me is 7 out of 10.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
We went there during lunch time. The house was not that busy. Their staff were also accommodating. The service itself was quite fast. At that point in time, luckily there is someone from us who can speak Mandarin (they most speaks in Mandarin). Nonetheless, I still considered their service as 7 out of 10.
THE FOOD:
We ordered their signature Shanghai Xiaolongbao and others menus such as Shaomai, Shrimp Dumplings, Spare Ribs, Chicken Feet, Fish Maiden, and their “Lo mai gai”.
For food presentation, it was simple. Most were served in a bamboo steamer. The aroma of every dish was highly recommendable. Their Shanghai Xiaolongbao was outstanding. The soup inside the dumpings was amazing and its really good in my palate. It’s not salty and it’s just well blended on the overall of the taste of the dim sum.
The spare ribs as well as the Fish Maiden were also nice and very appetizing. It was well steamed. The shaomai was pleasant and its very soft in my mouth. Every bite was superb. The texture as well as the way it was steamed was not overdone.
I would honestly say that all the dimsum we tried here was very good in my liking. Its really a well-recommended one.
Overall, I would say that the food here is 10 out of 10.
MY FOOD RECOMMENDATION:
Don’t missed out their Shanghai Xiaolongbao. This one for sure will make you remember Dim Sum Line Restaurant. The soft texture as well as the taste of the dimsum was fantastic. Other dimsum were also nice and don't forget to try their "Lo mai gai" (pronounce it as lomaikai). The stickiness of the rice as well as the meat inside this dish was very flavoury and its nice in my palate. I like it very much.
