Food and Place Review for Belanga Satu Bistro

Belanga Satu Bistro is located in Adda Heights serving various traditional Malaysian Cuisines with a fusion of Halal Western Food. Let’s find out how was it:

THE AMBIANCE:

The restaurant itself is very cozy, relaxing and the atmosphere is quite. The restaurant is spacious both inside and outside. I think its also good for having events for small functions/ gathering. Parking would not be an issue. The shop is facing directly towards the parking area. The place is undeniably clean and well maintained. For me its 9 out of 10.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

We went there during lunch time and the place was not that busy. I guess they are quite busy during night time. Their staff were accommodating but the orders will really take time. For me this is a big no no no specially for the working public. With our experience, I would rate their customer service as 3 out of 10. The service is very slow which I hope they should improve.

THE FOOD:

We ordered their Ayam Penyet, Grilled Chicken Chop, Pasta, Chocolate drinks, lemon tea, Hawaiian Chicken Pizza, and Nasi Goreng China.

I love their food presentation. It was outstanding specially for their Nasi Ayam Penyet. The chicken in this Ayam Penyet was very tasty. It’s crispy outside and the chicken inside was soft. I love the taste of all those spices they used to marinate the said dish. It was remarkable. I dint take much of their sambal since its very powerful.

The Hawaiian Chicken Pizza was nice. For me its nothing specially but I would also say it’s also tasty. The grilled Chicken chop here was also nice. The spices used were quite strong but I guess it could have been better if they increase the level of lime when they marinated the said chicken before they grilled it.

The chocolate drink was awesome. Its nice in my pallet. I love it. It’s a good finisher (I guess).

Overall, I would say that the food here is 8 out of 10. Even though their service was quite slow, the food here is still considered good.

MY FOOD RECOMMENDATION:

You should try their Ayam Penyet. The sambal is nice. It is very powerful if you love spicy food. Their pasta was also good. What I like about here as well is their serving- it’s quite a lot. After taking their dish, don’t forget to order their ice chocolate drinks- its nice and very chocolatey.
