Estimated Expenses When Crossing The Causeway

New year's eve is fast approaching. I am sure some of you may have been wondering about the conditions of your family members, relatives and friends on the other side of the causeway. With Singapore implementing phase 3 amid to this Covid19 pandemic, crossing the causeway is still not back to normal.

It has been 9 months that the border is close and I’m sure some of you might be needing update about it. Technically, the border is still close and those who are only allowed to travel are those that really need to enter the country with valid reason.

I have documented some estimated cost if you wish to go back to Singapore or Malaysia via land transport/ the causeway. This will only take place if you are able to get permission to cross the causeway by both countries.

Let me share to you what we found out on the cost part:

a. Estimated Expenses to enter Malaysia (via land transport)

a. Estimated Expenses to Enter Singapore (via land transport)

Please be advised that estimated figures maybe accurate to about 80-90 percent. Cost may vary according to accommodation type, meal, and currency exchange rate.

I hope that this findings is sufficient to guide you on your journey (should you need to cross the Causeway). The most important thing is that we are all safe as we enter into 2021 and thus continue to follow our government SOPs in stopping the spread of #Covid19 pandemic in our community.
