Different Ways To Reach LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort

Since the opening of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in Johor way back 2012, there has been a numerous local and international guests visiting this place. As such, a request was posted on my email regarding an actual guide on how to get to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.


With this, I managed to summarize all the information I’ve got including the experiences I had when I need to go to Mall of Medini for work and sometimes for special events. There are actually various types of public transportation services that helps you get connected to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.


HERE ARE THE PUBLIC BUS SERVICES:


A. Causeway Link LM1 Bus Service



This bus service runs daily around Johor Bahru which mainly used by commuters coming from JB Sentral after the CIQ First Link (Woodlands). Additionally, the bus has a good air conditioning facilities.

B. Causeway Link CW7L Bus Service


The bus inside the bus bay area of Mall of Medini.

Additional note:

  • This bus service helps to connect commuters from CIQ Second Link to to Mall of Medini.

  • This bus service will also help to transit commuters to Causeway Link CW3,CW4,CW6, CW7 to get to Singapore (Jurong East, Boonlay and Tuas Train Station).


C. Causeway Link Express Bus Service from Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur



This is an express bus service that has a daily departure and arrival time between Mall of Medini and Bukit Bintang at Swiss Garden Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This bus service is a luxury 30-seater coach high decker bus. It is built in with an executive chair and with ample legroom space and good air conditioning facilities.

This particular bus service can also help to assist commuter who wants to reach Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town at Puteri Harbour, Iskandar, Johor. The fare price is RM57 per person.


This bus service has a luggage compartment to accommodate the luggage of local and international tourists travelling to Johor or to Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.


D. Causeway Link Express Bus Service from Senai Airport



This is the newest bus service route that is implemented to cater passengers from Senia International Airport to LEGOLAND. This bus service also helps people from Mall of Medini to Connect to Desaru Coast.

By the way, this service can accommodate group pricing discounts. The discount will be calculated at the online portal of the bus service based on online ticket purchase transaction.

  • 1 pax = RM20

  • 2-3 Pax= RM12.50 per person

  • 4 pax and above= RM7.50 per person


D. Aside from buses, you can also have the following options:



  • Grab car (minimum fare of RM33)

  • Private car, this will depend on the type of car you wish to hire but.

  • SOCAR, you must have your own Malaysian licence to drive the car. The car is only available to a certain shops in Johor Bahru.


As a traveler, I do advise that you need to prepare yourself with small bills and coins so that you will not waste your money when paying your bus fare. Please be advise that the driver will not give your change.


You are not going to pay to them. For city buses here in Johor Bahru, you will be asked to drop your money inside the box money box upon receiving your bus ticket before entering the bus.
